Vittora vs Monarch

Monarch-style apps are household dashboards fed by bank sync: several people, linked accounts, a shared picture of cash flow. Vittora is a private Apple-native ledger with no bank login. You can split bills; that is not household budget sharing. This page does not rank price, ratings, or feature count.

Monarch-style dashboards

A connected household view. The usual path is bank aggregation so partners can review the same live accounts together.

Vittora

A private ledger for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. You enter or import CSV. Optional sync uses your private iCloud. Budgets are yours, by category — not shared household budgets.

Bank connection

Monarch-style products are built around bank sync. Vittora never asks for a bank password and does not use aggregators.

Splits are not household budgets

Vittora’s shipped splits and debt ledger help settle shared bills. They do not share a monthly budget across a household.

Where data lives

Vittora stores records on your devices. If you enable sync, it uses your private iCloud account rather than a Vittora analytics or advertising server.

Who each fits

Choose a Monarch-style app if you want a household dashboard on bank feeds. Choose Vittora if you want a private Apple ledger without a bank login.
