India 80C and 80D tracking

Tax estimates cover India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. The computed estimate is part of Vittora Pro. It is educational, on-device, and not tax filing software. The familiar 80C and 80D labels refer to provisions of the earlier Act; section numbers changed for tax year 2026–27 under the Income-tax Act, 2025. Tracking is relevant where the corresponding old-regime deductions apply. This page does not recommend an allocation or pick funds.

80C, where applicable

If you are comparing under the old regime, keep a category for the 80C amounts you actually paid — not the ceiling you meant to hit.

80D, where applicable

Health-insurance premiums for you and, where relevant, parents belong in their own category so the year total is not reconstructed in March.

Old vs new is a data problem

The estimator in Vittora Pro is a planning aid from your tracked totals. It does not file, and it does not pick funds. See tax planning.

Private by default

You enter or import CSV. No bank login, no aggregator. Records stay on your Apple devices or in private iCloud.

Check the Income Tax Department's deduction guide and its 2026 transition guidance before treating an amount tracked in Vittora as a claimable deduction. Section numbering changed for tax year 2026–27.
